John J. Secord, born July 4, 1948, left this world on September 8, 2022.  He is survived by his wife Charlene; children, Sherry (John) Krauss, Meridith Hill, Angela (Dennis) Smith and Suzanne (Rodrick) Weir; fifteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Hilda; two brothers Eugene and Walter; sister Margaret Stafford and one son John J. Secord, II.

With true appreciation for the simpler things in life, John enjoyed going fishing, watching a variety of television shows and playing the lottery (especially scratch-off tickets).  Most of all, John enjoyed spending time with his beloved family and friends.  Everyone was accepted in his eyes.  John was a role model for unconditional love while supporting many people in their time of need.  He liked to crack a joke to get a good laugh or pay forward some random act of kindness to cheer someone up.  John had a heart of gold and will be deeply missed.

John J. Secord left this world a better place because of how he loved everyone BIG MUCH!
